Can you cover tattoos and scars?

Yes certainly, although it does take time and we need to allow for that time when planning the make-up/hair.

Do you work with hairdressers to be on time?

On your big day, time management is a priority. Hairdressers and make-up artists have the ability to ruin wedding plans if they are running late. We pride ourselves to always be on time. A question and answer form is filled in at the time of make-up trial and information necessary to make the day go smoothly is recorded. We always work within the time frame as set out on the form. Photographers love us because we never run late.

Should the photographer arrive before make-up, during or after?

This is entirely the bride’s decision. If the bride is happy to have the photographer during preparation time, the team will work towards having her at a certain stage before the photographer’s arrival. Some brides prefer to get totally ready and have the photos at the house and others prefer photographs at the church/venue. If we know about the bride’s preference in advance, we can plan accordingly.

What products do you use?

We use only the ultimate in photo-friendly make-up. We chose from the most prestigious ranges available ensuring the best possible photographic result.

How do we prepare for your wedding?

We are a mobile service travelling free of charge Auckland wide. We also accept bookings for Waiheke and other Auckland Islands. A make-up trial is conducted some weeks prior to the wedding or event. A Face Chart is created during the trial and held on file with the Question & Answer Form. This ensures efficiency. On the day, a minimum of two make-up artists attend an event involving six or more people. If hairstyling is required, a hairdresser will accompany the make-up artist. This keeps the preparation time down.

Can I get one on one make-up tutoring?

Yes, this service is available. We also tutor small groups if this is a preference. This is a fun and valuable service for those who wish to learn more, where we share tips and advice on make-up application.

What happens in a corporate workshop?

We begin the class with an overview on skin care, followed by a demonstration to achieve a modern corporate day look. If there are more than three clients in a group a minimum of two make-up artists would attend the workshop. Clients are taken through a step by step application of make-up to one side of their face by the tutor. Under careful guidance they complete the other side themselves.

A fun demonstration is then performed by a tutor to effortlessly transform corporate day make-up to evening chic. The class then learn how a glamour look is achieved quickly and easily.
