About Stephanie
To further her skills and to pursue her passion for make-up she travelled to London, where she attended the prestigious Greasepaint School of Stage, TV & Film Make-up. This gave her advanced knowledge and skill in every type of make-up application and hairstyling. Upon graduating, she was offered work on the first Lord of the Rings Trilogy, but declined the offer because her passion was, and still is wedding and special occasion make-up. On her return to New Zealand, Stephanie continued working under the name of Art A Face Professional Wedding Makeup. The training from London soon helped her gain a highly respected reputation in the industry. Stephanie’s
artistic skills have created faces for Brides of the Year and her classical,
timeless make-up still look wonderful in bridal albums many years after
the event. “My aim has always been to create a beautiful, soft, romantic,
natural bridal look” she says. “I am an experienced, highly trained professional.
My work is always of the highest standard and I use only the best photo-friendly
make-up to achieve this result. I was the first make-up artist to introduce
the airbrush into New Zealand which lightly mists foundation on to
the face giving a seamless, flawless finish.” A special note to say thank you so much for your time
and professionalism. The make-up was beautiful and lasted all day and
night. Everybody was impressed with your work. Your calming manner put
me at ease. Thanks to you I felt confident and beautiful, even my Mum
felt beautiful and was happy, especially when she saw the photos! We
had the most perfect day! |
